Bastian works in the BISS-team as a researcher and software developer. His focus is on making software more efficient, more usable, and more secure.   

Bastian brings more than 15 years of teaching and professional software development with him. He has a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Maastricht University and a PhD in computer science from RWTH Aachen University.
